The Colonial States Athletic Conference has named Rosemont College junior Ashley Montecchio (Aston, PA/Sun Valley) its women's basketball Player of the Week for the week ending Dec. 18, 2011. In Friday's 67-59 win over Arcadia, she recorded a double-double, scoring a career-high 32 points while adding 11 rebounds. She also chipped in four steals and three assists, while going a perfect 5-for-5 from the foul line.
