The Colonial States Athletic Conference has named Gwynedd-Mercy College senior Dan DelConte its men's basketball Player of the Week for the week ending Feb. 5, 2012. DelConte led the Griffins to a pair of victories on the week, averaging 20.5 points, 5.5 assists, and 4.0 steals. In the Griffins’ 93-79 win over Centenary on?Wednesday, he posted a game-high 22 points, while adding six steals and six assists. In Saturday’s 80-62 win over Immaculata, the senior totaled 19 points, five assists, and two steals. In the two games, he went 6-for-14 from long distance, and 13-for-15 from the foul line.
