The junior catcher had three doubles and scored five runs for the Lady Defenders, while leading the team in slugging percentage (.611) and on base percentage (.524) as well as recording 11 total bases. In Wednesday's 9-7 win over Wesley College, Buchanan went 4-for-4 and scored the go ahead run in the seventh after she connected for her second double of the game.
