How has your semester been?
Overall the semester was definitely different as far as all the virtual aspects and all the new safety precautions that were put in place but Centenary was fortunate enough to be able to house their students on campus up until thanksgiving with very few cases of covid so I was still able to be around my friends and still have some sense of the college experience during this crazy time.

What kind of training have you done with your team?
Since we were not able to go do team workouts in the fitness center this semester, we incorporated a lot more running into our daily routines as well as incorporating yoga into the mix as well. Our assistant coach Shannon, became a certified yoga instructor over the summer so it has been fun to have her share that with us.

Are there any community service activities that you have been involved in?
Towards the beginning of the semester, the softball team took part in an opportunity to put meals together at the Church in town who would be giving them out to those in needs. Over 2,000 meals were put together that day and it was a great event for the team to be a part of.

Are there any fun facts about yourself that you are willing to share?
This semester I had the opportunity to Intern at The Brain Balance Achievement Center in Bergen County. This is a center for children who happen to be on the spectrum and who are in need of help to better develop their behavioral and cognitive functions so that they can perform better in school. For someone like myself who wants to be a school counselor one day, this was right up my alley and I was able to learn so much during my time there.

What do you like most about being a student-athlete at your institution?
What I like most about being a student-athlete at Centenary is that I get to represent something bigger than just myself. I get to represent everything that Centenary athletics and the softball team stands for.
