How has your semester been?
All things considered, very successful. Unorthodox as this semester may have been, it was my most productive semester I have had thus far. I participated in the SUNY Student Leadership Academy, was nominated as a Team Captain, and achieved a 4.0 GPA for the semester.

What kind of training have you done with your team?
Team training was kept to a minimum this semester, in accordance with our school's COVID regulations and our coach's decision to minimize exposure or spread of the virus. We were however able to do a few workouts and lifts as a team which consisted of mainly strength and conditioning work as well as some team bonding.

Are there any community service activities that you have been involved in?
Last semester I wasn't able to participate in much, due to spending a good portion of it in quarantine. I did, however, join and participate in our SAAC's mental health awareness group. In this group,  we spread mental health awareness and provided some outlets for students across campus.

Are there any fun facts about yourself that you are willing to share?
I am the only person in my family to have attended a SUNY school.

What do you like most about being a student-athlete at your institution?
I like how small our school is, which leads to a smaller team. Personally, I have always been a fan of having a smaller team even if it means less points at meets. The family atmosphere that is cultivated in a small team like ours is one I've never experienced before and I'm proud to be a part of it.
