Gregory improved on two of his school records last Saturday at the VertKlasse Meeting hosted by High Point University in North Carolina. The sophomore sprinter set a personal best and school record in the 400-meter dash as he came in first overall in the participation event with a blistering time of 48.00 seconds. That time best his previous top time of 49.57 set last month at the Myrtle Beach Collegiate Challenge. The 48.00 seconds is the top men's time in NCAA Division III so far this season and puts him in good position to qualify for the NCAA national championship meet in May. Gregory also lowered his school record time in the 200-meter dash as he posted a time of 21.24 seconds in the finals and placed sixth overall. The previous school record Gregory held was 21.39 seconds set on April 20, 2019 at the Gallaudet University Invitational. Earlier in the day, Gregory finished seventh overall in the 100-meter participation event with a time of 11.03 seconds. His time was the second fastest from a Division III runner in the event.
