Neumann University’s Brittany Whetts (Sr, Forward, Philadelphia, PA/Bartram) was named to the Colonial States Athletic Conference honor roll for women’s basketball for the week ending January 31st. Whetts was named ECAC South player of the week for the second consecutive week on 1/26/10 and third time this season. She was honored on 1/26/10 at the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia for being selected as one of the "Sam Cozen" small college/university player's of the year for men's and women's basketball for 2009-10 season. In addition, Brittany became the all time leading scorer at Neumann University scoring 33 points against Cedar Crest College on 1/30/10 surpassing the previous record of 1,608 held by Kaleena Simmons. Brittany currently has 1,633 points in her career. Brittany led the Knights to a 3-0 record for the week and a 2-0 CSAC conference record for the week.
