Centenary College’s Cara Montferrat was named The Colonial States Athletic Conference Player of the week for the week ending March 21, 2010. Montferrat hit .533 (8-for-15) on the week, led team in runs (8), home runs (2), RBIs (8), slugging percentage (1.067) and total bases (16). She also hit two doubles and played flawless defense, recording 29 putouts, two assists and a fielding percentage of 1.000.
