Immaculata University’s Nelson Torres was named to The Colonial States Athletic Conference Honor Roll for the week ending December 12th, 2010. Torres helped Immaculata to a 2-1 week after leading the Mighty Macs in scoring during both wins, and also provided the winning bucket during the closing seconds against both Centenary and Widener. Torres finished with 24 points as Immaculata picked up its first win of the season against Centenary, 66-65. Torres sunk both of his free throws with 0.5 seconds left on the clock to seal the win. The sophomore guard then provided the heroics in a 70-69 win against Widener with a jumper with 14.6 seconds remaining en route to a team-leading 22 points. Torres added 11 points in a loss to West Chester, finishing the week averaging 19 points, 3.3 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game.
