Keystone College’s Esteban Meletiche has been named The Colonial States Athletic Conference baseball player of the week for the week ending May 8, 2011. Meletiche helped lead the Giants to a 5-0 week, including a 3-game sweep of conference foe Centenary. In his first game of the week against the Cyclones, Meletiche turned in a 4-5 day at the plate with 4 runs scored and 3 RBI. The junior included 2 doubles and a home run to his line in that game. The next day in a sweep at Centenary Meletiche turned in a 2-7 day at the plate with 2 runs and 2 RBI and a 2-2 effort on the base paths. The following day Meletiche stepped it up with a 4-8 day in a sweep of non-conference power Haverford. He drove in 4 in the twin bill and scored twice, picking up a home run and three stolen bases along the way.
