Rosemont College's Klarisse Torriente (So., Newburgh, NY/Newburgh Free Academy) has been named to the Colonial States Athletic Conference women's cross country honor roll for the week ending September 4, 2011. Torriente finished first in the Messiah Invitational, completing the 3k course in 11:40, 12 seconds ahead of the second-place finisher. in her second meet of the week Torriente competed in the 5k Bryn Mawr Invitational and finished with a time of 22:03 (7th/51). This time however includes an extra 500 metes the sophomore ran due to incorrect markings on the course. The course director indicated that Torriente's adjusted time woudl have been approximately 19:45 which would have been good enough for first place in the meet.
