Cyclones top Moravian in NCAA opener

UNION, NJ:  The Centenary College softball team picked up the first NCAA playoff win in program history on Thursday, downing Moravian College 3-0 in opening round action in Union, NJ.  A two-run single by Brianne McManus in the third inning proved to be the difference, as Cyclone starter Roxanne Keelan was masterful throughout, allowing just five hits, with four strikeouts, to earn the complete game shutout.  McManus, Caitlyn Veverka, and Chelsea Pellegrino each had two hits in support of Keelan, as Centenary now advances to the winner's bracket and will face Rowan on Friday at 4pm.
