Rosemont Repeats as CSAC Men's Golf Champions

TELFORD, Pa.--The Rosemont College men's golf team won the 2019 Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) championship in convincing fashion Saturday afternoon at Indian Valley Country Club.
The Ravens carded a 36-hole score of 648 (160-159-329) to capture their second consecutive CSAC title and will represent the CSAC in the NCAA Division III Tournament in Lexington, Ky.
All five Rosemont golfers earned all-conference honors to help the Ravens claim the crown. Michael Lange set the pace with a +14 158 (41-38-79) to garner medalist honors. Lange was joined on the all-CSAC first team by teammates Jordan Cook (+18, 162), Stephen Vye (+19, 163) and Hunter Mickatavage (+24, 168). Paul Fedele finished seventh overall to claim second team all-conference honors (+29, 173).
Additionally, Rosemont head coach was selected by his peers as the CSAC Coach of the Year and Clarks Summit University earned the CSAC 3D Award for sportsmanship.
Cairn University took home the runner-up plaque with a combined score of 725 and landed three players on the all-conference team. Ryan Borrmann and Stephen Berger tied for fifth place at 171 and Jared Lanchak was eighth at 174.
Keystone College placed third at 781, Bryn Athyn College was fourth (786), Centenary University was fifth (801), Wilson College was sixth (847) and Clarks Summit University placed seventh (901).
Centenary's Jerome Beyer (177) and Bryn Athyn's Cody Smith (184) rounded out the final two spots on the all-CSAC second team.
