Cairn Announces Hefele As Interim Head Baseball Coach

ROSEMONT, Pa.--Cairn University announced that Jeremy Hefele shall serve as interim head baseball coach.
 
Coach Hefele joined the Highlanders coaching staff three years ago and has worked extensively in developing the Highlanders' pitching staff while also coordinating the recruiting efforts. "I am thrilled for the opportunity to continue the upward trend of Cairn baseball. I love working at Cairn because of the opportunities I have as a coach to impact the players in our program both on and off the field," said Hefele.
 
Hefele played four years at Delaware Valley University and was named to the MAC Academic Honor Roll each of his four years as a starting pitcher. He had this to say about coaching at Cairn University, "I care deeply about the growth and development of every player in our program as do the professors, administrators, and athletic staff. Working in an environment where everything is based around helping our students and improving the student-athlete experience is incredibly exciting."

Hefele will continue the Cairn baseball way to Be a Team Others Want to be Like and push the Highlanders to pursue excellence in everything they do.
 
Hefele graduated from Delaware Valley University with a B.S. in Business Administration and is currently pursuing his MBA at Cairn University.
