ROSEMONT, Pa. – The field is set for the 2021 Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) Women’s Lacrosse Championship, set to start on Thursday, April 22

Four teams will compete for the CSAC Championship, set for Saturday, and the conference’s automatic bid to the NCAA tournament.

Top-seed Notre Dame of Maryland University will take on fourth-seed Centenary University, while second-seed Wilson College will host third-seed Keystone College.

Bryn Athyn College, originally the second-seed, withdrew from the tournament due to COVID-19 protocols. Wilson, Keystone and Centenary were all then moved up one seed.

Wilson will host Keystone, while Notre Dame will host Centenary on Thursday afternoon at 4 p.m.

The semifinal winners will battle on Saturday at the highest remaining seed.

Notre Dame earned the top seed with a perfect 5-0 record in conference play. In its matchup with Centenary on April 10, the Gators won 20-6. That was their highest goal output this season. Notre Dame is the defending champion, having won the 2019 title at Keystone. The 2020 tournament was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Wilson, in its first year of varsity play, comes into the tournament with a 3-2 mark in the CSAC. They defeated Keystone back on April 13 by a 9-5 score.

Keystone, who was the runner up in 2019, comes into the tournament with a mark of 2-3.

Centenary enters the CSAC tournament for the first time since 2016. The Cyclones have a record of 1-4.
