Notre Dame is Favorite in 2022-23 Women's Basketball Preseason Coaches' Poll
VILLANOVA, Pa. – Notre Dame of Maryland University was the top pick of the coaches in the 2022-23 Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) Women’s Basketball Coaches' Preseason poll.
The Gators got 84 points and four first-place votes. Bryn Athyn College was second with 80 points and three first-place votes.
Wilson College was third with 64 points. Keystone College was forth with 63 points and a first-place vote, followed by defending CSAC champion, Clarks Summit University in fifth place with 57 points and a first-place vote.
Cedar Crest College was sixth with 50 points, followed by Cairn Univeristy with 49 points. Saint Elizabeth University was eighth with 45 points and one first-place vote.
Rosemont College was ninth with 30 points, followed by the University of Valley Forge in tenth with 28 points.
Conference play begins on Tuesday, November 22, with five conference matchups. The 2023 CSAC Women’s Basketball Championship is set for Feb. 20-25. The top-six seeds will compete for the conference title and the NCAA Division III Championship automatic qualifier (AQ).
