BRYN ATHYN, Pa. – The University of Valley Forge captured the program's first-ever Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) championship with a first-place showing at the 2022 CSAC Men’s Cross Country Championships at Bryn Athyn on Saturday afternoon.
The Patriots posted a team score of 28 to easily best second-place Clarks Summit University, who tallied a score of 65. Cairn University finished in third with a team score of 68.
Rafe Williams of Bryn Athyn was named Men's Runner of the Year after taking home the individual title with a time of 28:15. Finishing in second was Valley Forge's Ricardo Nunez who clocked a time of 28:19.5. In third was Rosemont College's Ryan Olesky who finished in 28:41.9 while Isaac Gale of Valley Forge was fourth with a time of 29:08.3. Rounding out the All-CSAC First-Team was Cairn's Titus Dingle (fifth - 29:24.4), Valley Forge's Nate Gale (sixth - 29:50.2) and Keystone's Corey Scochin (seventh - 30:04.0).
Jimmy Stevenson of Valley Forge was named the Men’s Cross Country Coach of the Year.
