Bryn Athyn Wins Second Consecutive CSAC Women's Soccer Championship
ALLENTOWN, Pa. – Kira Bradley’s goal in the 59th-minute gave second-seeded Bryan Athyn College a 1-0 victory over top-seeded and host Cedar Crest College in the 2022 Colonial States Athletic Conference Women’s Soccer Championship game on Saturday afternoon.

The Lions improved to 14-2-1 on the season while the Falcons fell to 12-4-2. Bradley, who scored her eighth goal of the season, earned her tournament MVP honors.
Bryn Athyn put the pressure on Cedar Crest in the first half as the Lions totaled 11 shots. The Lions had four shots on goal that were saved over a 15-minute stretch during the first half.
Cedar Crest did not waste time in trying to tally the equalizing goal as its best chance came just four minutes after Bradley scored. Linsey Nester and Morgan Love both had their shots shaved seven seconds apart by Bryn Athyn goalkeeper Chloe Munyon. The Falcons had two opportunities in the 83rd and 85th-minutes to tie the game by Munyon made saves on both Cedar Crest attempts.
Bryn Athyn held a 20-14 shot advantage while also holding an 5-2 margin in corners kicks.
With the win the Lions earn the league’s automatic bid to the 2022 NCAA Division III Women’s Soccer Championship.
Notes: Bryn Athyn wins the program’s second consecutive (2021-2022) and second overall league title. This year’s championship game marked the first time that Bryn Athyn and Cedar Crest played in the title game. Cedar Crest made its third appearance in the CSAC championship game.
