Kean the top pick in 2022 CSAC Men's Lacrosse Preseason Coaches Poll
VILLANOVA, Pa. – Kean University was picked to defend its men’s lacrosse title as the Cougars were the top pick in the 2022 Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) preseason coaches’ poll released on Wednesday afternoon.
The Cougars, received 46 points and four first-place votes. Stockton University, who advanced to the title game in 2021, was second with 44 points and three first-place votes.
Montclair State University was third with 36 points, followed by Rosemont College in fourth place with 25 points.
Bryn Athyn College was fifth with 24 points, followed by Keystone College in sixth with 11 points and Cairn University in seventh with 10 points.
The top four teams will battle for the CSAC title starting on Tuesday, May 3, with the championship scheduled for Saturday, May 7. The winner will receive the conference’s automatic bid to the NCAA tournament.
