Alfred State Women's Track and Field the top pick in preseason coaches' poll
VILLANOVA, Pa. – The Alfred State College women’s track and field team was picked first in the 2022 Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) Preseason Coaches’ Poll which was released on Wednesday afternoon.
The Pioneers, who won their first championship last season, received 36 points and all six first-place votes. Penn State-Behrend was second with 28 points, followed by Cedar Crest College in third with 22 points.
Gallaudet University was fourth with 21 points, while Keystone College was fifth with 12 points and Notre Dame of Maryland University was sixth with seven points.
The 2022 CSAC Track and Field Championships will be held on May 7-8, at Alfred State College.
