1995 PAC Softball Player of the Week Awards

March 13:  Jen George (3B, Alvernia) batted .379 (11-29) with two doubles, one home run and seven runs batted in.  She also scored four runs in 2-6 week for team.

March 20:  Mandy Davis (P, Alvernia) went 3-9 as a pitcher, giving up just nine hits and one earned run in 15 innings.  At the plate, went 4-6 with three runs and three RBI’s.

March 27:  Jen Smith (JR, 2B, Misericordia) batted .800 (12-15) with 16 RBI, 12 runs scored, two doubles, one triple and one home run in 4-0 week for the Cougars.

April 3:  Lisa Kurtz (JR, CF, Allentown) hit .684 with eight runs, seven RBI and nine stolen bases in 5-1 week.

April 10:  Jessica Crea (FR, P, Misericordia) as a pitcher, went 2-0 with a pair of shutouts, including a no-hitter.  At the plate, hit .705 (12-17) with nine runs scored and 12 driven in to lead the Cougars to a 4-0 week.

April 18:  Jessica Crea (FR, P, Misericordia) repeats after going 2-0 as a pitcher with a pair of shutouts.  She allowed just three hits and struck out nine.  At the plate, she batted .538 (7-13) with one double, one triple, four RBI and three runs in 3-1 week for team.

April 24:  Joey Lynn Gatto (JR, P, Misericordia) as a pitcher, went 3-0 with 1.84 ERA; at the plate, hit .611 (11-18) with three doubles, three runs and three RBI in 5-1 week for Cougars.
