The CSAC and its member institutions are committed to ensuring that student-athletes are students first, then athletes. Our student-athletes compete at the Division III level because they recognize the importance of furthering their education. Because of this, the CSAC believes it is important that student-athletes be recognized for all their accomplishments - both academic and athletic.
To be eligible for the CSAC All-Academic Team, a student-athlete must:
- Earn a semester grade point average of 3.20 or greater
- Earn a varsity letter in the respective sport
- Use a season of eligibility, as defined by the NCAA, and
- Meet all other NCAA eligibility requirements for participation in their respective sport.
The CSAC names All-Academic Teams twice per year: at the conclusion of the fall semester for fall sports and after the conclusion of the spring semester for winter and spring sports.
