Colonial States Athletic Conference

ROSEMONT, Pa. - Keystone junior guard Tone Cockrell and Cairn University senior guard Julian Collazo were named as the Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) Player and Defensive Player of the Week on Monday afternoon by the conference office. 

Cockrell averaged 30.5 points per game and seven rebounds a contest in a 1-1 week for the Giants. Against Lehman, he scored 32 points, then followed that up with a 29 point performance in a win over York (NY). He shot 18-for-34 over the two games, including a 5-for-7 three point mark in the win over York (NY). 

Collazo averaged 6.7 defensive rebounds a game and finished with an average of eight caroms a game for the Highlanders. He pulled ten defensive rebounds in the win over PS-Berks. 

Honor Roll selections went to Centenary junior guard Chris Labelle who averaged 22 points per game, including a 31 point performance in the loss to SUNY-Delhi...Cairn University senior guard Malachi Hall who averaged 14 points and 7.6 assists per game...Saint Elizabeth senior forward Ted Thelemaque who went 16-for-32 over three games and was named to the All-Tournament team at Juniata...Centenary University sophomore forward Billy Veras who averaged ten rebounds a game...Keystone freshman guard Malik Hughes who had three blocks against York (NY)...Saint Elizabeth junior guard Darnill Brown who had nine steals on the week.
