Colonial States Athletic Conference

ROSEMONT, Pa. – Keystone College sophomore guard Bella Lamonea and Notre Dame of Maryland University sophomore forward Daija Fitchett were named as the Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) women’s basketball Player and Defensive Player of the Week on Monday afternoon by the conference office.

Lamonea averaged 20 points across two games for the Giants, including a 20 point, 11 rebound performance in a 79-60 win over Cairn on Saturday afternoon. She also had two steals in the win over the Highlanders. 

Fitchett had 15 rebounds and four steals, to go along with three blocks in a win over Cedar Crest on Saturday.

Honor Roll selections went to Taylor Bossert of Centenary who had 17 points and six rebounds, along with seven assists in a win over Valley Forge…Notre Dame of Maryland’s Ayana Brim who had 14 points and 11 rebounds in a win over Notre Dame…Clarks Summit sophomore guard Elizabeth Singleton who had 21 points and 19 rebounds in a win over Bryn Athyn…Centenary University forward Janee Rowan who had 17 rebounds in a win over Valley Forge…Keystone College’s Khaliah Gordon who had eight steals and four rebounds in a 1-1 week for the Giants.
