Colonial States Athletic Conference

ROSEMONT, Pa. – Rosemont College senior guard Ke’Alohilani Naone-Carter and Notre Dame of Maryland University sophomore forward Daija Fitchett were named as the Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) Women’s Basketball Player and Defensive Player of the Week on Monday afternoon by the conference office.

Naone-Carter had 34 points and 11 rebounds in a win over Cairn on Wednesday. She also was 8-for-10 from the foul line and had five steals.

Fitchett averaged 15.5 rebounds per game in a 2-0 week for the Gators, including 17 rebounds against Wilson and 14 rebounds and two steals in a win over Clarks Summit.

Honor Roll selections went to Rosemont sophomore forward Angel Ricks who had 18 rebounds and two steals against Cairn…Cedar Crest senior guard Geminii Cabrera who had six rebounds in a win over Cairn…Saint Elizabeth junior forward Kamani Williams who had five steals in a win over Wilson…Keystone junior guard Khaliah Gordon who had 13 defensive rebounds, eight steals and two blocks on the week…Centenary freshman guard Carmen Escano who had 15 rebounds in a win over Wilson…Centenary sophomore guard Victoria Jacobs who had 24 points in the win over Wilson…Keystone guard Mac Oribello who averaged 20 points in two wins last week…Saint Elizabeth senior guard Kamille Jacobs who had 17 points and five assists in the win over Wilson…Cedar Crest junior forward Mackenzie Borger who had 15.5 points over two games, including 18 in the win over Cairn…Notre Dame of Maryland University freshman guard Ariana Alleyne who had 19 points in the win over Clarks Summit.
