Colonial States Athletic Conference

ROSEMONT, Pa. -Notre Dame of Maryland University senior outside hitter Kayleigh Davis and Cedar Crest College junior libero Tiffany Hoppes were named as the Colonial States Athletic Conference Women's Volleyball Player and Defensive Player of the Week on Tuesday.

Davis, in three matches, averaged 3.55 kills per set and had 20 kills in a loss to Goucher. She also had 14 aces over the weekend.

Hoppes recorded 62 digs this past weekend at the Morrisville Tournament. She also had 21 digs and four service aces in the win over SUNY-Poly. 

Honor Roll selections went to Keystone's outside hitter Erika Schwoyer who had 2.80 kills per set this weekend...Kelsee Schouppe from Cedar Crest who had 30 kills this week at the Morrisville tournament...Keystone's libero Pamela Heitman who had was named to the DeSales All-Tournament Team after totalling 53 digs...Notre Dame of Maryland's libero Ivanella Figueroa who had 46 digs on the weekend, with 30 against Goucher.

Keystone's Amanda Hardy had 32 assists in the loss to RU-Camden...Centenary's Melissa Krueger had 13 assists, 10 digs and six kills in a loss Valley Forge...Clarks Summit got eight kills from Beth Muhlenkamp in a win over Wilkes...Bryn Athyn's Hannah Dewees got her 15th double-figure kill total in the loss to NJCU...Lyntia Gwess had 14 kills and 19 digs for Cairn in a loss to Immaculata...Madison Flatt had 13 assists for Cedar Crest in a loss to Morrisville...Yasmin'Na Muhammad and Stephanie Mitarontonda led College of Saint Elizabeth with ten kills each in a loss to NJCU...Rosemont got 11 assists from Alyssa Springer in a loss to PS-Abington...Notre Dame saw Cara McLaughlin post 16 assists, two kills and two aces in the win over Trinity (DC)...Wilson got 17 kills from Tia Jones in the win over Mary Baldwin.
