ROSEMONT, Pa. – Notre Dame of Maryland University freshman forward Ayana Brim and Keystone sophomore guard Mac Oribello were named as the Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) Women’s Basketball Player and Defensive Player of the Week on Monday by the conference office.

Brim had 21 points on 10-for-17 shooting for the Gators in a come-from-behind-win over Cedar Crest on Saturday. The Gators leading 54-52 over Cedar Crest with 2:30 left, Brim scored six of the final seven points for Notre Dame to lead them to the win.

Oribello, in a matchup with Saint Elizabeth, recorded five steals as the Giants remained undefeated in the CSAC.

Honor Roll selections went to Centenary guard Carmen Escano who averaged a team-best 8.5 rebounds in a 2-0 week…Notre Dame of Maryland sophomore forward Daija Fitchett who had 16 rebounds against Cedar Crest…Keystone sophomore guard Bella Lamonea who had 20 points in wins over Saint Elizabeth and Cairn…Bryn Athyn freshman forward Kalie Soulsby who had 22 points and 12 rebounds in a loss to Clarks Summit…Centenary sophomore guard Taylor Bossert who averaged 19.5 points in two wins for the Cyclones.
