Colonial States Athletic Conference

ROSEMONT, Pa. – Rosemont senior guard Ke’Alohilani Naone-Carter and Centenary University freshman forward Carmen Escano were named as the Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) Women’s Basketball Player and Defensive Player of the Week by the conference office on Monday afternoon. This marks the final week for basketball players of the week for the 2019-2020 season.

Naone-Carter averaged 34 points in her final two games last week, including a 31 point, 14 rebound performance against Wilson. She added 37 in a loss to Bryn Athyn.

Escano averaged 17.5 rebounds per game while leading the Cyclones to a pair of wins in their final two regular season games. She also averaged 16 points per game while posting a pair of double-doubles. Escano started her week with 13 rebounds, 11 of which were on the defensive end in the road win at Bryn Athyn. Escano also scored 16 points in the win. In Saturday's win over Notre Dame, Escano dominated the board as she pulled down a career-high 22 rebounds. Escano had 19 of her 22 rebounds on the defensive end. Her 22 rebounds are tied for fourth in single-game history at Centenary. She also added 16 points in the win.

Honor Roll selections went Keystone freshman guard Katie Price who had five steals and 12 rebounds on the week…Notre Dame of Maryland sophomore forward Daija Fitchett who had two double-doubles for the Gators last week…Keystone sophomore guard Mac Oribello who had 27.5 points in a 1-1 week for the Giants…Notre Dame of Maryland freshman guard Ariana Alleyne who had 16.5 points in a 1-1 week for the Gators…Bryn Athyn junior forward Clayshonia Cogman who had 22.5 points and 13 rebounds in two games for the Lions.

Bryn Athyn finished the season with a sweep of Rosemont, after defeating the Ravens 80-75. Allie Warren had nine of her 22 points in the final 3:33…Dakota Hitchner had 28 points for Cairn in its season finale against Wilson…Ashley Wilson scored 27 points for Cedar Crest in its season finale against Clarks Summit…Carmen Escano had 16 points and 22 rebounds for Centenary in its win over Notre Dame…Elizabeth Singleton had 26 points for Clarks Summit in its win over Cairn this week…Mac Oribello had 29 points for Keystone in its win over Saint Elizabeth on Saturday, locking up the number one seed…Ariana Alleyne had 18 points and three steals for Notre Dame on Saturday in a loss to Centenary…Angel Ricks scored 12 points and had nine rebounds for Rosemont in a loss to Bryn Athyn…Kamille Jacobs had 34 points for Saint Elizabeth in its loss to Keystone…Samira Murphy had 32 points for Wilson in its season finale against Cairn.
