ROSEMONT, Pa. - Keystone senior outfielder
Lauryn Rodriguez and Cairn University senior pitcher
Krista Earl were named as the Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) Softball Player and Pitcher of the Week on Monday afternoon by the conference office.
In four games last week, Rodriguez batted .643 (9-for-13) with ten RBI, a pair of doubles, two triples and a home run. She also collected two stolen bases. She had four RBI each in wins over Rosemont and Saint Elizabeth, scoring three runs in a game one win over Saint Elizabeth.
Earl went 2-1 last week, getting wins over Saint Elizabeth and Clarks Summit. Against SEU, she struck seven and walked one while allowing just one earned run. Against Clarks Summit, she pitched a complete-game, four-hit shutout while striking out four.
