ROSEMONT, Pa. – Stockton University senior midfielder Joey Tiernan and Centenary sophomore goalkeeper JT Doyle were named as the Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) Men’s Lacrosse Player and Defensive Player of the Week on Monday afternoon by the conference office.
Tiernan had seven goals and four assists on the week, with six of the goals coming against Kean in a 17-6 win, which gave the Ospreys sole possession of first place in the CSAC.
Doyle had 12 saves on 25 shots faced for Centenary, in its win over Keystone on Saturday.
Honor Roll selections went to Centenary’s Timothy Kaiser who had six points (4g, 2a) in the win over Keystone…Montclair State’s Tyler McCreery who had ten points (2g, 8s) in the win over Bryn Athyn…Keystone’s Jayden Kirby who had four goals in games against Rosemont and Centenary…Kean’s Thomas Francy who had 16 saves against Stockton on Wednesday…Keystone’s Sam Lepore who had 32 saves in two games against Rosemont and Centenary…Montclair State’s Wilson Smith who had three forced turnovers and six ground balls against Bryn Athyn…Stockton’s Logan Holleritter who had four caused turnovers and six ground balls in two games last week.
