Colonial States Athletic Conference

ROSEMONT, Pa. - For the second straight week, Cairn University swept the Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) Men's Volleyball Player and Defensive Player of the Week awards. 

Scott Bassill captured the Player of the Week award, while sophomore setter Josh Moyer won the Defensive Player of the Week award. 

Bassill had 40 assists in a three-set victory over Neumann, the most assists by a Cairn setter in a three-set match in seven years. 

Moyer had 11 digs in a three-set win over Neumann.

Cairn has now won five straight after taking down Neumann on Wednesday…Saint Elizabeth will open its season next Thursday at Valley Forge…Paul Brown had ten kills for Valley Forge in its five set loss to Wilson…Oliver Perry had 12 kills for Wilson and four aces in its win over Valley Forge…
