Colonial States Athletic Conference

ROSEMONT, Pa. - Cedar Crest College junior infielder Delaney VanBuskirk and Wilson College graduate pitcher Megan Potter were named as the Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) Softball Player and Pitcher of the Week on Monday afternoon by the conference office. 

VanBuskirk went 6-for-8 (.750) between both wins over Saint Elizabeth University this past weekend. She totaled 5 RBI, three runs scored, and a double in the doubleheader. In the 15-1 win, VanBuskirk went 4-for-4. She drove in four RBI, scored three times, had a double, and scored two runs. In their 6-5 victory in game 2, VanBuskirk went 2-for-4 and scored a run. On the defensive end, she contributed three putouts and five assists. 

Potter was 2-0 on the week with wins over Valley Forge and Southern Virginia. Agianst UVF, she allowed just two hits and one walk while fanning 13. She had 11 strikeouts in the win over Southern Virginia. 

Honor Roll selections went to Meghan Bradley from Wilson, who had seven RBI in three games...Skyler Bilous from Cedar Crest who allowed five hits in a game 1 win over Saint Elizabeth.
