Softball Weekly - May 3, 2021

ROSEMONT, Pa. - Cedar Crest graduate student Nicole Santaniello and Wilson College graduate student Megan Potter were named as the Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) Softball Player and Pitcher of the Week by the conference office on Monday afternoon.

Santaniello went 9-for-14 in a pair of CSAC doubleheaders last week, including a 7-for-9 performance against Keystone. She had the walk-off two-run homerun in the 13-12 win over the Giants.

Potter struck out 22 over two games while allowing just three hits in wins over Notre Dame and Clarks Summit.

Honor Roll selections went to Cairn's Krista Earl who threw a one-hit shutout in a win over Valley Forge...Cedar Crest Corinne Mundy who got a win over Keystone in relief on Saturday...Centenary's Roxana Gonzalez who had five strikeouts in a win over Notre Dame...Centenary's Meghan Hughes who went 3-for-5 against Notre Dame...Keystone Paige Mokychic who went 5-for-8 against Cedar Crest on Saturday...Cairn's Olivia Nieto who went 4-for-6 against Valley Forge...Wilson's Alyssa Wenger who went 6-for-14 in wins over Notre Dame and Clarks Summit...Rosemont's Gillyan Dewbrew who went 7-for-10 in a 3-1 week for the Ravens.
